These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of custom fishing rods ("Product(s)") from Hackett Outdoors LLC. By placing an order for a Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Order Confirmation:

1. Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of payment or deposit.

2. Customization options and specifications must be finalized and confirmed at the time of order placement.

Payment Terms:

1. Full payment or a deposit is required upfront to initiate the order.

2. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the Product.

​

Cancellation Policy:

1. Order cancellations must be requested within 48 hours of order placement for a full refund.

2. Cancellations made after 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee, determined at our discretion.

Customization Limitations:

1. Customization options are subject to availability and manufacturing limitations.

2. We reserve the right to reject or modify customization requests that are not feasible or exceed our capabilities.

Shipping and Delivery:

1. Custom fishing rods are all "made to order". This means that once an order is placed we ask for 4-6 weeks to make and ship that custom rod order. Pre-built rods are "in-stock" and you can expect normal 3-5 business day shipping. 

2. Shipping costs and delivery times are provided upon order confirmation.

3. We are not responsible for delays in delivery caused by shipping carriers or unforeseen circumstances.

Returns and Refunds:

1. Returns are accepted for manufacturer defected or damaged Products only.

2. To initiate a return, contact us within 7 days of receiving the Product.

3. Refunds or replacements will be provided upon return and inspection of the defective or damaged Product.

4. Custom rod orders are "non-returnable" because they are catered to an individual preference. Returns are allowed if there is a "manufacturing" defect.

Warranty Information:

1. Unlimited Lifetime Repair Warranty!! If a rod is broken or damaged and in repairable condition, for the lifetime of the rod you can send it in for FREE repair. Note: Customer pays shipping cost. 

2. Our Products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

3. Warranty duration and coverage terms vary by Product and are specified in the warranty documentation provided with the Product.

Liability and Disclaimers:

1. We are not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from the use of our Products.

2. Customers assume all risks associated with fishing and rod usage.

Privacy Policy:

1. We collect and use customer information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2. Customer information is used for order processing, customer service, and marketing purposes.
